Close the loop from intent to delivery.
Turn an idea or a PRD into specs, user stories and agent-ready tasks with exact file scope and a testable Definition of Done.

Set up OpenPlanr in this repo: https://openplanr.dev/setup.md

Plan: a typed /spec command becomes SPEC-001, which splits into user stories and tasks saved as files under .planr/ in the repo.
Set up in four steps
1. Install the OpenPlanr CLI
Requires Node.js 22.13+ or 23.5+.
Or run the installer script, which checks your Node.js version first and never installs Node.js for you.
~$ curl -fsSL https://openplanr.dev/install.sh | sh # Windows PowerShell: irm https://openplanr.dev/install.ps1 | iex2. Install the skills into your coding agent
~$ openplanr setup # detects Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor and asks which to set up # Cursor: openplanr setup --runtime cursor --scope projectIn Claude Code you can add the plugin from Claude's plugin directory or with these commands instead. Use one path, not both, and keep the CLI from step 1: several skills call it.
Claude Code> /plugin marketplace add openplanr/marketplace > /plugin install planr@openplanr3. Initialize your project
~/your-project$ cd your-project $ openplanr init4. Start with a specification
Restart the coding agent so it loads the new skills. In Cursor, mention the
planr-specrule in Composer.Claude Code or Codex> /spec "Add passwordless sign-in for existing accounts" # Claude Code > $spec "Add passwordless sign-in for existing accounts" # Codex ($planr:spec if you chose the OpenPlanr plugin)Follow with
planto decompose the specification into stories and tasks, andshipto implement one task. Plan and ship stay separate steps that you invoke.
